It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post, and I’ve been meaning to reflect on the journey over the past few years. A lot has changed since my last update, and I thought it would be fitting to share where I’ve been and what I’m focusing on now.

The Journey So Far

Transitioning to a Startup

One of the biggest changes in the past few years has been my decision to switch over to a startup. It was a big leap, and I have no regrets. The fast-paced environment has forced me to adapt quickly, and I've had the chance to be involved in projects that are pushing the boundaries of what we can do.

From Full-Stack to Lead Engineer

I started my career as a full-stack engineer, and over time, I’ve transitioned into a lead role. Leading frontend development has been an incredibly rewarding experience, especially because it’s also given me the chance to focus on the architecture of the software we’re building. There’s something deeply satisfying about shaping the structure of an app from the ground up and ensuring that it’s scalable and maintainable.

Growth on All Fronts

Over the years, I’ve been committed to growing my skillset—both technical and non-technical. On the tech side, I’ve broadened my expertise across frontend, backend, and even operations. But it hasn’t been all about the code. I’ve spent a lot of time honing my people skills and focusing on self-growth. The balance of these two areas has been critical in my personal and professional development.

Travel and Personal Growth

I’ve also had the opportunity to travel and explore the world. There’s something about stepping away from work and immersing yourself in different cultures that sparks creativity and offers new perspectives. These experiences have not only enriched my life but have also influenced the way I approach my work and interact with others.

Taking Time for Myself

Along the way, I’ve realized the importance of taking breaks. There were moments when I stepped back to recharge and focus on personal growth. These pauses gave me the space to breathe, reflect, and come back to work with a clearer mind.

Looking Ahead to This Year

While the last few years have been filled with growth and exploration, I’m excited about what’s to come in the next year.

Continuing to Hone My Skills

This year, my focus is on continuing to level up. I plan to dive deeper into new technologies, explore different aspects of software development, and keep pushing myself to grow both as a developer and a leader.

Building More Apps

I’m excited to build more apps this year. I’ve realized that I love the process of taking an idea and turning it into something real that can make a difference. I plan to create more applications for myself and start branching out into different areas of software development.

Expanding My Presence on Social Platforms

Finally, I want to expand my presence on social platforms. I’ve seen how much sharing knowledge can help others, and this year, I aim to create more content to help those who are looking to break into tech. Whether it’s through blog posts, videos, or other platforms, I want to share what I’ve learned and help others on their own journeys.
